HPSC Graduate Student Conference
Each spring, our Graduate Student Association organizes a conference for students working on topics relating to the history and/or philosophy of science. The conference provides an opportunity for graduate students to share their work, make connections, and receive feedback from faculty and peers in a congenial environment.

 
Keynote Speakers
 
Dr. Steven Dick, Former NASA Chief Historian 

Dr. Steven J. Dick is a leading astronomer, astrobiologist, historian, and author. He served as Chief Historian for NASA from 2003 to 2009 and worked as an astronomer and historian of science at the United States Naval Observatory from 1979 to 2003. He has edited or authored hundreds of articles and dozens of books across a number of disciplines.

Dr. Sarah Reynolds, University of Indianapolis

Dr. Sarah Reynolds is Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics & Earth-Space Science at the University of Indianapolis. She researches Educative Experimentation and Laboratory-based Instruction, History of Spectroscopy, and historical perspective on Life on Other Worlds.
